How to Transport a Mini Dirt Bike

If you are a professional mini dirt bike racer then you need at least three to four mini dirt bikes for a tournament or a competition. You must be able to take with you your bikes or perhaps ship them to the location of your next race. But your best option would be to take your bikes with you and go cross country to your next race. Other racers on the other hand prefer to have their mini bikes and gear shipped to their location. They might find it easy to just fly to their next race area rather than drive cross country for several days. Here are several ways on how to transport your mini dirt bikes to your next race location.

Via trailer truck cargo is one way of transporting your mini dirt bikes to your next race location. All you have to do if find a trucking company that transport these bikes cross country for you so you can just kick back and relax on your journey to the next area and not have the hassle of hauling your dirt bikes in your trailer or RV. This is also convenient for those professional racers when they choose to fly in to the race location instead of driving there. Saves them a heap of time and they are surely well rested for the coming race.

Via U-haul cargo trucks or carry containers is another way of transporting your bikes. The upside of using a U-haul carry containers or cargo van is that you are able to take your bike with you on the road. Your mechanics can easily access your bikes and can immediately tend to them if ever they need to repair something, upgrade your bikes or replace parts on the road. This is a huge advantage so that at anytime you know that your bike is handled well and safe from bad cargo handling. It’s even more an advantage if you purchase a carry container that you can attach to your vehicle where you can safely tuck away you mini dirt bikes in. This is mostly what some professional dirt bike racers do so that they can easily haul their bikes with them and save money on shipping.

You can also ship your bikes to other countries, if the location of a major mini dirt bike tournament is in another country then there are cargo planes that ship them. Although they may tend to be a bit expensive, but on the other hand how can you compete without a dirt bike. These cargo planes are hired by the racers or maybe by their sponsors to ship their vehicles to other countries. It’s a major advantage if the racers sponsors pay for the shipping and handling of the bikes but if you are an independent racer with small company sponsors then prepare to shell out a fairly large amount of money for the transport cost. Just be sure that the cargo company handles your vehicles well, but just to be on the safe side have a member of your crew fly in with your vehicles to ensure that your bikes are well handled during transport.
